The Ormandy Group has beaten off stiff competition to win the Heating product of the year for 2010. The award is for the most innovative product to hit the market in 2010.
The heat exchange packaged leader won it with the Mini Breeze Consumer Interface Unit. It gives both the end user and the installer all of the features they have come to expect from a premium heating appliance in a package size that complements existing boiler dimensions
Phil Cooper Sales Director, was proud to accept the award on behalf of the Ormandy Group having been involved in the development of this product from day one and afterwards said “we are absolutely delighted to have won this prestigious award as we are committed as a business to improve efficiency and energy conservation in modern buildings”
The Mini Breeze provides both hot water and space heating. The unit can be used for traditional radiator circuits as well as under floor heating applications. Quiet, compact and efficient, the Mini Breeze is a perfect fit in the modern water heating systems
The Mini Breeze is supplied complete with mounting facilities for easy installation on a suitable surface. Simple connection of pipe work and power without the need for gas services or an external flue will reduce installation time considerably. Future servicing has been considered throughout the design of the Mini Breeze, no special tools are required and the appliance does not require an annual safety service.
One of the judges at the awards said “this product complimented the renewable technology and is so important to the environment going forward”
One of the major benefits of the Mini Breeze is that the appliance uses hot water from a central boiler plant, with heat transferred through the heat exchangers in the appliance, to provide heating and hot water. There is no gas or other fuel required by this appliance, therefore the chance of a gas leak or carbon monoxide being given off by a faulty appliance is eliminated.
Murdo MacDonald, Ormandy Business Development Director believes this is the first of many such awards for this innovative product.
