Ormandy Supply Substantial HIU’s for Nova Victoria Circle

This was a huge commercial and retail project, located to the north of one of London’s busiest transport interchanges. The three buildings include offices, retail, residential and a community space / library alongside an extensive public realm.

The brief:

The client wanted to move towards a district and central system to support all heating and cooling systems within the three buildings.

The solution

Ormandy offered a significate range of equipment to complement these design solutions including 3 x 2500 kW boilers, 2 x 2500 litre calorifiers and a substantial 51 Heat Interface Units which was the most significant element of the project.

The HIU’s (Heat Interface Units) were distributed through the building, including a heat station in the basement for the district system, floor plates and fitted units for apartments.

The floor mounted units were designed to conserve space throughout the building, whilst maintaining the required temperature profiles.

COMMUNICATION:

Ormandy Rycroft were engaged in the project from an early stage and good communication and regular updates during the project, ensured that tight schedules were met and the client was kept in the loop at every stage of the process.
